We are excited to announce the addition of podcast sponsorship data to the Podchaser API! That means that developers and partners with Pro API can now access sponsor data for the top 5,000 podcasts’ past sponsors and each brand’s sponsor history with estimated ad spend.
Our new podcast sponsorship data allows brands, media monitoring companies, networks, and more to quickly incorporate valuable podcast sponsorship information into their own apps, services, and dashboards.
We’re excited to help advertisers and podcast networks with our newest API feature: sponsor history. Simply search Podchaser for one of the top 5,000 podcasts or their episodes to find what brands have sponsored that show in the past. This allows advertisers to better understand brand fit and networks to target new clients for their own shows.
Query a brand and you’ll receive a list of the shows and episodes they’ve run ads on, allowing you to understand your competitors’ ad spend and target audiences. This is great for building lookalike campaigns.
In addition to seeing which shows a brand has sponsored in the past, you can also see how much money they spent on those ad campaigns.
Estimated ad spend lets you know not only who is spending money on podcasting, but just how serious they are about it.
This is just the beginning. Podchaser plans to expand sponsor history across many more podcasts in the coming months. We’re committed to adding more tools that help brands and marketers leverage the power of podcasting. Stay tuned for more updates.
Our one-stop-shop API just got a whole lot better with the addition of brand sponsor data, furthering Podchaser’s claim to the most advanced podcast API. We’re confident that the Podchaser API is the only podcast API you’ll ever need. Developers can access:
