The All Seeing Guys with Greg and Joe

Greg Armstrong, host of The All Seeing Guys with Greg and Joe and GLCast

1) What is your podcast about?

My podcast is The All Seeing Guys Podcast with Greg and Joe and it’s about day to day annoyances we can all relate too, we basically take an already upside down world and turn it sideways.

2) Who should listen to your podcast?

Our podcast is relatable to almost anyone with an adult sense of humor, that being said, we tend to pull in a lot of young listeners, perhaps because we poke fun at current trends.

3) How long have you been podcasting and why did you get into podcasting?

I’ve been podcasting for over three years, I got into it from me and my friend Joe having silly conversations at band practice or in the pub and people were saying we should do something about it… podcasting seemed the obvious answer and we were already both avid listeners of podcasts. We have been doing the show for three years now and have released a new episode very two weeks on a Tuesday without fail, we’ve never missed one, that’s really important to me.

4) What non-podcasting hobbies do you have?

We also write, star and produce our own radio plays, mainly our detective duo ‘Ritz Cricker and Dick Disturbance’, we currently recording a sequel to part one ‘Rise of The Moonwalkers’ as well as doing fun little skits too. We both record our own hip hop music also.

5) Tell us about your setup!

As for our recording set up, as pre-mentioned, we record music, vocals mainly. Through doing that for years we gained our own recording equipment. It’s a set up that may seem dated or over kill to some podcasters but it gives us great professional sound. I pride myself on podcast production, so much so that just by my podcast being heard I was offered a job at podcast product agency GLProUK getting me out of retail. Podcasting hugely changed my life, well, our quality sound did. We use two Shure SM58 mics plugged into a Alesis multimix 8 USB FX, which I connect to my mac via USB, and record through Logic X. So despite the laptop in the photo I send, we actually use a Mac book pro and we publish via Libsyn.

6) What is one show (other than your own) that you think everyone should listen to?

The Last Podcast on the Left really inspired me when approaching how to start a podcast as it was the first podcast that I fell in love with. I listen to countless podcasts now, Anywhere But Here podcast is a fave of mine, we’ve become quite chummy with the hosts and hope to do a crossover epsiode soon. They are also on the BritPodScene network we are proudly part of.

7) Anything else you’d like to share?

Here’s our list of episodes to maybe start with.
