1) What is your podcast about?

Script2Screen is a new platform for nontoxic yet critical conversations about the film and television industries where co-hosts Alan Mehanna and Had Solo discuss the latest headlines, castings, rumors, and the craziest speculations that anyone could enjoy!

2) Who should listen to your podcast?

The podcast is made for anyone who loves and appreciates movies and series!

3) How long have you been podcasting and why did you get into podcasting?

Before Had Solo joined the podcast, Alan Mehanna had been tackling it on his own in a completely different format but the show’s evolution occurred five months ago. The podcast’s overall age is a year. Being in Lebanon, the audience is very limiting, and podcasting is the only way to create outreach and connect with film and series lovers on a global scale.

4) What non-podcasting hobbies do you have?

Film and series watchers, book readers, and film merchandise collectors.

5) Tell us about your setup!

Alan Mehanna and Had Solo record at a local radio station where the show airs live before it becomes the podcast two days after.

6) What is one show (other than your own) that you think everyone should listen to?

Alan is personally a huge fan of Rebel Force Radio, your source for the Force, a podcast that discusses all things Star Wars in a non toxic all loving way!

7) Anything else you’d like to share?

Alan and Had have been pouring their hearts and souls into the podcast to ensure that every episode is entertaining, informative, and infused with love of film and series. Since the show first aired on Lebanese radio, it has since been promoted to twice a week.

Friday episodes are now called Script2Screen Spotlight, an hour episode where co-hosts Alan Mehanna and Had Solo discuss a film, a tv show, a director, actor, composer, screenwriter, or a producer and their work + a specific topic either relating to the person of interest from the first segment or a non related topic.

Saturday episodes are called Script2Screen News Hour, an hour episode where co-hosts Alan Mehanna and Had Solo discuss the weeks headlines relating to film and television (casting, production, scandals, etc) as well as rumors, and theories + Lebanese Box Office stats and commentary, and their usual weekly recommendations.

And finally every once in a while the co-hosts release a bonus episode called Script2Score, where the co-hosts discuss, analyze either film or television scores and soundtracks.
