In one sentence, what is your podcast about?

Walnut GroveCast is a podcast about Little House on the Prairie. We have past cast members and present fans discussing this long running and beloved tv show.

Who should listen to your podcast?

Anyone who loves and appreciates vintage and retro tv – we discuss the entire 70’s on our show.

How long have you been podcasting and why did you get into podcasting?

I originally got into podcasting from an idea I had while working at NYC’s The Village Voice.  With my cohost (Alex Saltz) we designed the editorial layouts and covers for each weekly issue so late nights were common. We would discuss the paranormal, unexplained, retro tv, music, etc and decided to pitch the idea of a Village Voice Podcast to the publisher who loved it, gave us a budget and then sold the entire company! OUCH! We decided to start a podcast on our own which ended up becoming, On the Odd. I have been podcasting for about 10-11 years and have had several Podcasts come and go – currently my podcasts are VHS Rewind!, On the Odd and of course, Walnut GroveCast. We love our fans and the relationships we have created with them.

What non-podcasting hobbies do you have?

As a web developer and stay at home dad I have a good amount of time on my hands, I brew beer and wine (come over and have some!). I am currently building a woodshop in my garage to house my 3d printing and cnc machines and marry those hobbies together to make unique items from wood and plastic. I restore vintage cars and currently own a 1953 MG and 1971 Obnoxious Yellow VW Beetle.   I also am a musician who collects vintage computers, synthesizers, guitars, amps, etc  My wife ‘loves’ my hobbies. lol

What is one show (other than your own) that you think everyone should listen to?

Alison Arngrim interview – she is an amazing and strong woman who has overcome so much!
