- Your Only [Objective] -  Youtube Link  There are things lurking in the forests and the shadows. But more often than not, those things are out and about, interacting with thousands of people. In this world, even before humankind, there have been oddities. Freaks. Entities. Things that never made much sense. Sometimes we call them super-beings. Other times, they are monsters. We can see them in books or on the screen and can often lay in bed with the acknowledgement that the things that bump in the night aren't a monster. Not everyone is as fortunate. There is a kernel of truth in every story. There are thousands upon thousands of things out there that can’t be explained. Even with every piece of technology we have, there is something unexplainable. The [redacted] organization seeks to find those things that really do wander the streets and go bump in the night. Whether it is to capture, kill, or contain, there is only one [Objective].

Ford Theater as a radio series lasted for only two seasons. Its first season was broadcast from New York City on NBC with such actors as Ed Begley, Shirley Booth, Gary Merrill, Everett Sloane and Vicki Vola. This season ran from October 5, 1947, to June 27, 1948. Due to poor ratings, Ford moved the show to Hollywood and CBS for the second season, where top Hollywood actors headed the casts. This season, which lasted from October 8, 1948, to July 1, 1949, received much higher ratings. However, with television rising in popularity, Ford decided to end its radio show and focus solely on television.

Exit Plan is the story or rather collected journals of a nameless man who lives in Australia and has to deal with some threat or confrontation left unsaid so far. He has released his audio journals to provide information and context around what he has to do and to explain his situation. Is this for real or it is just an urban fantasy delivered in character? I don’t know. I was contacted anonymously to edit and post this podcast. I’ve called it Exit Plan. My instructions were to download individual audio files and stitch them together. I added some theme music to the front because that’s the way serialised fiction podcasts are presented I guess. I wasn’t given any particular instructions except to stress that this is real and not fiction. But I find that hard to believe. Still I do as I am paid to do.
