Bodice Tipplers

We're two trouble makers from Columbia, South Carolina who love books and booze and talking over each other.  We met in a post-election fury and continue to agitate and drink heavily while reading the news. Courtney is a Technical Librarian by way of a master’s degree in Public History. She has been obsessed with romance novels since she stole them off her Mamaw’s nightstand. She is a loud talker, likes the color pink, enjoys cheap wine, and thinks music festivals are dumb. She also is scared of bears, loves Dolly Parton and Reese Witherspoon, and is a Basic Southern woman minus the racism and White Shoulders. Sara is a Research and Readers' Advisory Librarian with a master's degree in Library and Information Science.  She once came in second on Jeopardy! but it was after Alex Trebek shaved off his mustache so she isn't sure if that counts. She is unafraid of bears as long as they are South Carolina bears; none of that west coast ursine business.  She dresses like a lumberjack on vacation but owns more than one set of pearls and a lot of personalized stationery.
