Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (1967)

Episode 65 we look at Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. On a mission to Mars Captain Black and two other (Bert and Ernie (actually they where never named)) mistake the peaceful Martians scanner has a deathray which they then lay waste to the mars base, luckly  the Martians have the ability to rebuild thier base, so no harm no foul ?... the Martains are a bit miffed and decide to destory the Earth and all Earth men ( and probably the women too although it's never mentioned) but slow over along time bit by bit starting with killing the World President.

Episode 77 is Tales Of The Gold Monkey need I say more....Oh alright then... Set in 1938 in the South Pacific, the series is about an ex-Flying Tigers pilot named Jake Cutter (Stephen Collins). Now the operator of an air cargo delivery service based on the fictional South Seas island Bora Gora, he flies a red and white Grumman Goose called Cutter's Goose. Jake's best friend is his mechanic Corky (Jeff MacKay), a good-hearted alcoholic with a memory hazy from heavy drinking. However, a one-eyed Jack Russell terrier named Jack (Leo).

Then pollution and waste began to take their toll. Civilization fell into ruin. This is the world of the 25th century. Only a handful of scientists remain, men who have vowed to rebuild what has been destroyed.

Episode 55 we look at The Starlost ( okay we never heard of it either ). This 1973 show stars Keir Dullea ( 2001's Dave Bowman ( this show is not full of stars )). Foreseeing the destruction of the Earth, humanity builds a multi-generational starship called Earthship Ark, 50 miles (80 km) wide and 200 miles (320 km) long. The ship contains dozens of biospheres, each kilometres across and housing people of different cultures.

Five hundred years in the future, a renegade crew aboard a small spacecraft tries to survive as they travel the unknown parts of the galaxy and evade warring factions as well as authority agents out to get them.

Episode 59 is here with Gerry Anderson's Space Precinct, it has flying cars alien more aliens and space police The year is 2040 and there's not a lot of backstory to fill in the gaps, so lets say the human race meets some aliens and some of them want to be Cops and some Gangsters. The series is set in the year 2040 and starred American actor Ted Shackelford as former NYPD detective Patrick Brogan, now a lieutenant with the Demeter City police force on the planet Altor in the Epsilon Eridani system. Brogan and his partner Jack Haldane (played by Rob Youngblood) must adjust to living in another solar system, and investigating crimes being committed by aliens as well as humans (that's more backstory than the pilot episode told us).

Episode 58 is a double on Space Academy and Jason Of Star Command!!! Space Academy (1977) The adventures of the young space cadets of Space Academy in the year 3732. Commander  "Doctor Smith" Gampu is the leader of the academy. Jason Of Star command (1978) Jason was an officer of Star Command, which was located on the same asteroid as Space Academy. Both have groundbreaking special effects and Sci Fi veterans in Jonathan Harris (Lost in Space ) and James Doohan (Star Trek) , what more could you want.
