Amedeo Claris is the author of The Re-Alignment Era and an executive leader with nearly three decades of experience spanning financial markets, corporate insolvency, private equity, and business turnarounds.
Born in Switzerland, his career began in financial services at Generali before joining Clifford Chance, where he worked on complex corporate restructurings, including one of Europe’s largest multi-billion euro accounting fraud collapses. He later administered a 3.3 billion euro venture capital fund for CVC Capital Partners at a firm acquired by State Street and launched the UK REITs practice at an offshore magic circle firm.
As an operator and interim executive through his firm Sivgen, he scaled a London food venture to 23 million pounds and led the post-pandemic turnaround of a 70 million pound multi-site restaurant group.
He holds a degree in law, a Master’s degree in legal practice, and is a long-standing member of the UK Institute of Directors. He is available to comment on corporate governance, public policy architecture, systemic institutional failures, and business strategy.
