Annamie Paul is a lawyer, activist, and politician. She is the leader of the Green Party of Canada. Paul began her political career as an intern for Liberal MPP Dominic Agostino in 1996. She ran directly as a Green Party candidate in the 2019 federal election, and went on to become the Green Party leader in 2020. Paul received her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa and her M.P.A. in Public Affairs from Princeton University. She was called to the bar in Ontario in 1998.
