García-Romero shows how her unique pedagogy and her example as a successful Latina experimental playwright continue to inspire playwrights like Caridad Svich, Cusi Cram, Elaine Romero, Quiara Alegría Hudes, and Karen Zacarías.Anne García-Romero is a playwright and theatre studies scholar.Andy Boyd is a playwright based in Brooklyn, New York.
