After growing up out west, Aylin Vega moved to the DC area for college and her stories chart that progression into adulthood. She writes what she knows, with names changed to protect the innocent, and the not so innocent. "Dating" is Aylin’s first book, built off her own experiences, some originally released on her WordPress blog “The Modern Whore”. Aylin wrote her manuscript as part of NaNoWriMo 2014, completing the entire text during the month of November.
