Brian O’Malley lives in Omaha, Nebraska with his wife and two daughters. His formative professional life was spent in the restaurant industry and he now leads the prestigious Institute for the Culinary Arts at Metropolitan Community College. O’Malley’s passion for growing from the experiences of others is at the heart of what makes The Open Kitchen tick. Chefs, pastry chefs, bartenders, owners, restaurateurs, sommeliers, and leaders of all types open up and share what they’ve learned from life in the industry.
