After questioning his religious ideologies, Calvin decided to read the Bible. By Revelations, he considered himself an atheist. He saw no sufficient reason to continue a belief in god by the end of it. He applied that same skepticism to his alien, cryptid, and conspiracy beliefs which eventually dug him out of the "tin foil hat" hole that he was stuck in for most of his adolescence and early adulthood.
To add, he has always been a history lover. Everything from the pyramids, to Native American Folklore is in his area of wanting to know more. Calvin made the podcast to break the stigma of being able to question what you believe without the negative connotations, as well as being able to question the current narrative of human history without being considered a "conspiracy theorist" or "pseudoscientist," as there is more evidence than you may currently be aware of to support the notion of human civilization dating back thousands of years further than the common consensus suggests.
