Christopher Paul Szabo is the former Professor and Academic Head of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of the Witwatersrand and Head of Clinical Department, Department of Psychiatry, Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. He is currently an Honorary Professor in the Department and an Emeritus Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
