This week Joff and Claire record another remote edition of the P pod. Claire talks to Learning and Engagement Officer Ryan Watts from the Petersfield Museum about what to expect when the museum reopens next year and Joff gets tips from professional voiceover artist Abi Phillips - you may recognise her voice from Shine Radio. Jon Walker brings news from the area, Suzie Wilde goes walking in Durford Wood and there is music from rising local musician Tash Hills with her second single First Breath. Lots of Christmassy things to do and see in the Whats On and Harrison RB joins for a chat.See for privacy information.
It’s another remotely recorded P pod this week featuring Shirley Leader, owner and manager of independent boutique clothes shop Velvet and Rose on Chapel Street.  Find out why Shirley has turned her mannequins around to face inwards in her shop window. Joff meets up with Jon Walker to find out the latest news in the Petersphere and Suzie goes walking at Langley. This week’s music is from local band Mark Vennis and Different Place - that name sounds familiar!  Their new album Fighting on All Fronts is out this Friday 27th November and we play House on the Corner of the Road from the album. And Claire and Joff explain how you can leave a message of thanks or Christmas cheer from Friday in Shine Radio’s Messages of Comfort and Joy campaign. You can contact Claire and Joff by phone at 01730 555 500 or email pod@theppod.ukSee for privacy information.
Claire and Joff meet Gary Boxall of Petersfield Photographic. Jon Walker looks through the pages of this week's Petersfield Post, Suzie Wilde walks with Abigail McKern and there's local music from Marley Blandford. Also, Covid-19 starts to affect life in the Lacey and Vennis households. Once again, the programme is recorded remotely with Joff at home in Herne Farm and Claire in the wilds of Langrish, a social distance of at least 2 miles.See for privacy information.
Claire Vennis and Joff Lacey may be snug in their respective homes, but the P pod is very much out and about around the Petersphere once more. This week Claire speaks to Nick Rook-Blackstone from Wylds Farm in Liss Forest about how he plans to open up the popular Christmas Tree Farm this year and Joff catches up with the Petersfield Post’s Jon Walker after the Remembrance Service in town. Suzie is Wilde Walking in Rooky Wood with all the colour of autumn and will continue to bring her Wilde Walks to Shine Radio and the P pod throughout this second lockdown. This week’s local musician is Rhia T with her debut single I’m Done.  Rhia T has just turned 17 and used to go to The Petersfield School.  She currently attends the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and I’m Done is her first official release.  Congrats!   Next week we meet with Gary Boxall from Petersfield Photographic.See for privacy information.
