Colin Barrett is an author. Barrett's first book, a collection of short fiction called "Young Skins," was published in 2015. The title story won the Frank O'Connor International Story Award.Barrett has won the Penguin Ireland Prize, the Guardian First Book Award, and the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature. His work has been published in The New Yorker, A Public Space, Granta, The Stinging Fly, and in several anthologies.Barrett received his M.A. in Creative Writing from University College Dublin.
