Dr. David A. Rennie is a writer, researcher, and author who specializes in American literature. Currently, he teaches English at St. Machar Academy. Previously, he was a researcher and academic writing skills adviser at the University of Aberdeen. Rennie's work has appeared in The Hemingway Review, The F. Scott Fitzgerald Review, and the Cambridge History of American Literature and Culture in the Great War. His first book, "American Writers and World War I," was published in 2020. His second book, "Sir Alexander Ogston: A Life at Medical and Military Frontlines," was published in 2023. His third book, "F. Scott Fitzgerald: A Composite Biography," co-edited with Niklas Salmose, was published in 2024.
