Davy Gardner is a writer, creator, performer and a New York City native. He is a writer and the associate editor at The Truth on Radiotopia (from PRX), he's currently writing an original series for Audible, and also writes for a weekend team at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Davy has written many audio pieces and series, including "Married Alive", which stars Sue Galloway (30 Rock, Late Night with Seth Meyers), and "The Other Fran", staring Jo Firestone (High Maintenance, The Tonight Show). He associate produced the serial, "The Off Season", which stars Peter Grosz (HBO's Veep). The series was listed on The Atlantic's Top 50 Podcasts of 2018. He also associate produced "The Body Genius", which appeared on the A.V. Club's list of Best Podcasts of 2019 So Far. Davy won Best First Time Screenwriter and Best Dark Comedy at the 2019 Los Angeles Film Awards for his short, "Mountain", which also won Best Dark Comedy at the 2019 New York Film Awards. His short film, "You Hang Up", won the 2019 Berlin Flash Film Festival. You can see some of his work streaming on Discover.Film. Davy taught writing at The School of The New York Times alongside award-winning author, Meghan Daum. He also created the series, Season Two Show, and improvises in New York City with the teams, "Boyf" and "Pork".
