Dr. Edward Gutiérrez is a military historian examining the intersection of war, strategy, and ethics. He is the Director of Hillsdale’s Center for Military History and Grand Strategy. In addition to teaching The Western and American Heritage courses, he also teaches upper-level classes in strategic studies, the just war tradition, and global warfare from antiquity to the present.
