Dr. Gail C. Christopher is a leader in health policy, with expertise in integrative health and medicine, the social determinants of health, health inequities, and public policy issues of concern to our nation’s future. Currently, she is Chair of the Board of the Trust for America's Health.Prior to that, Dr. Christopher was the founder and president of the Ntianu Center for Healing and Nature. Before that, she was senior adviser and vice president of the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, where she designed the WKKF campaign, "Truth Racial Healing and Transformation," an adaptation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission model for America. She has also worked on issues pertaining to food, health and well-being, leadership, public policy, community engagement, and place-based funding in New Orleans and New Mexico.Dr. Christopher writes a column for the Federal Times, and she has authored three books. She has appeared in The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Dallas, Times, National Journal, Essence, “Good Morning America,” “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” National Public Radio and documentaries on PBS and CBS.Dr. Christopher received her doctor of naprapathy degree from the Chicago National College of Naprapathy and her Ph.D. in holistic health and clinical nutrition from the Union for Experimenting Colleges and Universities.
