Dr. Susannah Fisher is a British climate researcher and author specializing in climate adaptation, resilience, and governance. She leads the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship project “Accountable Adaptation” as Principal Investigator and is based at the UCL Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction. Fisher’s research focuses on how societies can adapt equitably and effectively to climate change, bridging science, policy, and community perspectives. She is the author of Sink or Swim, a book examining global and local approaches to adapting to a changing climate. Alongside her academic work, she writes on her Substack platform, sharing insights on climate policy, adaptation, and sustainability.
