E. Lily Yu is an author of fiction and speculative fiction. Yu's work has appeared in PodCastle, Clarkesworld, EscapePod, Lightspeed, Eclipse Online, Apex, Uncanny Magazine, Asimov's Science Fiction, Terraform, and the Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, and in anthologies. Her first novel, "On Fragile Waves," was published in 2021. Her second book, the collection, "Jewel Box," was published in 2023. Her third book, the nonfiction "Break, Blow, Burn, and Make: A Writer's Thoughts on Creation," was published in 2024. Yu received her A.B. in English from Princeton University and her M.A. in English from Cornell University.
