Elissa Castles is a reporter and audio producer. Currently, she is a producer for City Cast. Previously, Castles was the D.C. bureau intern for Marketplace. She also worked for the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma and the duPont-Columbia Awards as a podcast producer. She received her B.A. from the University of Texas Austin and her M.S. in audio journalism from Columbia University.
