Elizabeth Shogren is a reporter who writes about Science for Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting. She is also a lecturer at Georgetown University.
Prior to joining Reveal, Shogren was the Washington Correspondent for High Country News. Before that, she was an independent journalist, investigating FEMA rules and the challenges American communities face with climate change. Before that, she was an environment and energy correspondent for NPR's national and science desk.
Shogren received her M.Sc. in Science Journalism from Columbia University School of Journalism, and her M.Sc. in Science from Columbia University in the City of New York.
