Geoffrey Cohen is James G. March Professor of Organizational Studies in Education and Business, professor of psychology and, by courtesy, at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. He is also a faculty affiliate of the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence. He is the author of a forthcoming book about the causes and consequences of a sense of belonging in school, work, politics, health care, and other arenas of social life, Belonging: The Science of Creating Connection and Bridging Divides (Norton, September 2022).
