He is the poor soul charged with maintaining order on the show, with varying levels of success. Jeff has earned his Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators and believes we should stop telling people to “drink what they like” in order to promote exploration in peoples drinking lives. Jeff lives in Colorado with his two boys, his lovely wife (who you can hear during the opening of every epiosde), and two dogs.

He served in a variety of roles at the Four Roses distillery for more than 50 years. Some of his many roles he held include Distillery Manager, Brand Ambassador, and historian for the 129-year-old Kentucky Bourbon brand. In 2010 his book, “Four Roses: The Return of a Whiskey Legend” was published. He was inducted into the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame in 2015, and is also a member of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame. Al passed away on Christmas day at the age of 77.
