JJ earned a BA in Postmodern Philosophy and Systematic Theology from Hampden-Sydney College and a Masters of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School. During the day, he works as a Cloud Application Architect and has been an active web developer for several decades. In his off time, he runs the Southern Demonology podcast and actively translates scrolls and documents in Classical Ethiopic (Ge'ez).
