Josephine Victoria "Joy" Behar is an American comedian, writer, and actress. She co-hosts the ABC daytime talk show The View and hosted The Joy Behar Show on HLN. She also wrote The Great Gasbag: An A–Z Study Guide to Surviving Trump World.
Joy Behar was already a successful comic when she became a co-host on The View. But before she was a comic, she had already been a teacher, raised a daughter, and worked on staff at Good Morning America.
