Julian Vigo is an independent scholar, journalist, and filmmaker. She is founding editor of Savage Minds, a Substack and Podcast devoted to combating "cancel culture," capitalist ideology, and gender theory. Dr. Vigo holds advanced degrees in comparative literature from CUNY and NYU. Her writing includes the book Earthquake in Haiti: The Pornography of Poverty and the Politics of Development (2015) and articles in Forbes, Adweek, HuffPost, RealClear Politics, Truthout, The Federalist, and more.
