Dr. Karissa Haugeberg is a historian of medicine. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of History at Tulane University.
Haugeberg's first book, "Women against Abortion: Inside the Largest Moral Reform Movement of the Twentieth Century," was published in 2017. In 2019, she co-edited the 9th edition of the textbook "Women’s America: Refocusing the Past."
Haugeberg received her undergraduate education from the University of North Dakota and her Ph.D. in History from the University of Iowa.
