Kjartan Hewitt has been working in film and television since he was 13 years-old. In his teens, he competed and taught in the Canadian Improv Games while working on a YTV and CBC series. Kjartan cut his teeth writing and producing plays and musicals in the Canadian Fringe circuit starting when he was 17. Claire from the Bus was his fifth full-length play. While earning his bachelor of English Lit he worked under Edgar Wright, Bennett Miller, Don McKellar, and Kevin McDonald. At 30 years-old, he's been a part of more than 70 professional productions, in addition to live music and standup comedy performances.
