Kyna's origin story is unlike most hillbillies. While there were banjos, her childhood consisted more of digging up dinosaur bones (read: chicken bones), learning Egyptian Hieroglyphics, and imagining her past life as Cleopatra. She left the hills to pursue degrees in history, psychology, and art then spent the next seven years librarian-ing until history successfully seduced her back into school. Once grasping her MA in Public History, the military decided her next adventure would be in South Central Texas. Kyna is now aggressively pro-Texas and enjoying her days hitting the adventuring, creating art, and being a mediocre trophy wife/dog mom.
