Lauren Sandler is a journalist and author of This Is All I Got: A New Mother's Search for Home, among other narrative nonfiction books. Her essays have appeared in dozens of publications including Time, Slate, The Nation, The New Republic, The Guardian, and New York Magazine. She has been on staff at Salon and at NPR, where she worked on All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Weekend Edition, and the Cultural Desk. She is a co-host of the podcast Hot and Bothered.
