Lindsay Gibbs is a freelance sports writer and author, whose reporting centers on the intersection of sports, gender, and politics. She is a contributing writer for The Athletic, where she primarily covers the Washington Mystics and Maryland women’s basketball.Gibbs is the co-founder of the popular tennis blog The Changeover, and co-host of the feminist sports podcast, Burn It All Down.Previously, Gibbs was the sports reporter at ThinkProgress for four years.Gibbs's writing has appeared in USA Today, Sports on Earth, VICE Sports, Bleacher Report, The Classical and TENNIS.com. She is also the author of the historical fiction novel, "Titanic: The Tennis Story."Gibbs was raised in Greensboro NC, and went studied film and television production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
