Lynn Lyons, LICSW, is a psychotherapist, author, and speaker with a special interest in interrupting the generational patterns of anxiety in families.Lyons has been a practicing psychotherapist since 1990, specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders in adults and children. She also gives talks and trainings on anxiety, its role in families, and the need for a preventative approach at home and in schools.Lyon is the author or co-authored of several books, including "Anxious Kids, Anxious Parents," and "Using Hypnosis with Children,"Lyons received her B.A. in English and Psychology from Williams College, and her M.S.W. from the Boston University School of Social Work.
