Marta Guasch‑Ferré is a public health researcher and associate professor at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, where she leads work on nutritional and lifestyle epidemiology at the Department of Public Health and the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research. Her research investigates how diet and lifestyle factors relate to chronic conditions such as cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes by integrating metabolomics, genetics, and other high‑throughput –omics methods with traditional epidemiological analysis. She also holds an appointment as adjunct associate professor at the Department of Nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Guasch‑Ferré has authored over 100 peer‑reviewed scientific publications and has received competitive funding from the United States National Institutes of Health and awards such as the Sandra A. Daugherty Award for excellence in cardiovascular disease epidemiology from the American Heart Association. Recent work includes studies on dietary patterns, metabolomic profiles, and their associations with mortality, aging, and cardiometabolic disease risk.
