Mary Galligan is a Managing Director in the Cyber Risk Services practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mary joined Deloitte following her retirement from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Mary currently advises senior executives and boards on the development and execution of security programs to prevent and minimize the business impact of cyber threats. During Mary’s 25-year tenure with the FBI, she served in the New York Office as the Special Agent in Charge of Cyber and Special Operations.In this role Mary oversaw the FBI's investigations into national security and criminal cyber intrusions in New York City and advised numerous financial institutions, media entities and law firms about the federal government's role in cyber security. Mary gained significant crisis management experience as the supervisor over the FBI's investigation into the terrorist attacks on 9/11, as one of the On-Scene Commanders in Yemen after the bombing of the USS Cole and as the Special Agent in Charge of Special Events and SWAT in New York City. Mary also served as the Chief Inspector of the FBI.
