Born and raised in Ogunsowo Village in the Lagelu Local Govt Area of Ibadan, Oyo State of Nigeria to Chief Joseph Adigun and Madam Felicia Adunola Adigun. I did all my Primary, Secondary and Technical Educations in Nigeria. I worked in the Art industry for a while in Nigeria. I started travelling and promoting Nigerian and Afrikan Culture abroad in 1986 with Afrikan Heritage Troupe. We travelled all over Europe and Russia and finally came to America in 1989 with Oduchiala Dance Troupe. A few years later I co-founded Bi-Okoto. In 1996 I started my Radio program, Afrikan Village Buka, on WAIF 88.3FM Cincinnati, and it is still running to this present day. At WAIF, I was voted to the Board of Trustees in 2008, Station Manager in 2011 until 2020, and Membership Coordinator in 2020. Father to five beautiful children Adebayo, Olubunmi, Olubanjo Jr, Ajekoiya and Joseph Tra. I’m married to my beautiful wife Marsheen Leah Adigun In 2019, I started my podcast Afrikan in the Diaspora on Anchor.fm to explore the way of life, the music, food and the culture of the Afrikan, people and communities in the Diaspora and to dispel the myths and stereotypes about the Afrikan Continent.
