She is also the host of the weekly Book Review podcast.Previously, Paul was a columnist for The New York Times, where she wrote the "Studied" column. She also wrote about financial issues and family for Worth Magazine. She has also been a contributor to Time magazine, and a regular writer for The Atlantic. Earlier in her career, she worked as senior editor at American Demographics magazine. She is also a former London- and New York-based correspondent to The Economist, where she wrote a monthly arts column.Paul has written or co-written six books.
