Peter Kafka is senior correspondent at Recode. He hosts the podcast "Recode Media". He has been reporting on media and technology since 1997, when he joined the staff of Forbes magazine. In 2007 he became the managing editor of Silicon Alley Insider, which went on to become Business Insider. In 2008 he moved to AllThingsD.com.
