Dr. Rebecca Willis is a climate scientist. Currently, she is Professor in Energy and Climate Governance at the University of Lancaster. Her research focuses on the environment and sustainability policy. Willis's first general-audience book, "Too Hot to Handle? The Democratic Challenge of Climate Change," was published in 2020. Willis received her B.A. in Social and Policy Sciences from Cambridge University, her M.A. in Environment, Development, and Policy from the University of Sussex, and her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Lancaster.
