Richard Bradford is a Professor of English and Senior Distinguished Research Fellow at Ulster University. He is the author of the three highly acclaimed literary biographies The Life of a Long-Distance Writer: A Biography of Alan Sillitoe, First Boredom, Then Fear: The Life of Philip Larkin and Lucky Him: The Life of Kingsley Amis.
