An exiled boy catches the eye of a restless young aristocrat. What begins as pity swells into an unlikely brotherhood -- even as the lofty ambitions that brought them together threaten to tear them apart. Experience a tragic friendship that shaped the modern world. TEMUJIN: AN AUDIO DRAMA is an adaptation of the Central Asian epic "The Secret History of the Mongols".
This is Roshan Singh, showrunner for Temujin: An Audio Drama. Temujin is a cinematic, five-episode audio play, and a faithful adaptation of one of the oldest surviving works of Central Asian literature — The Secret History of the Mongols. It was released in January 2020 after four years of work by our independent, Singapore-based, primarily Asian team. The story of Temujin follows the rise of a young Genghis Khan, and the fall of his closest friend. What you're about to hear is the opening act of a tight two-and-a-half-hour production. If you like what you find here, we're sure you won't regret listening to the very end. Thank you for listening. Transcript can be found at: Twitter: @temujindrama
