Russell Nichols is an author and traveler, who writes dystopian, horror, and Afrofuturist speculative fiction.Nichols's short stories have appeared in Lightspeed Magazine, Microverses, The Under Review, Apex, and Terraform, and have been collected in The Year's Best African Speculative Fiction. His nonfiction has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Governing Magazine and Government Technology. Nichols currently travels the globe with his wife, and supports himself with his writing.
