Scott Tallal is co-founder and executive director of the Malibu Film Society, where he manages the day-to-day operations of MFS, handling everything from film scheduling and talent bookings to moderating audience Q&As with guest speakers. Originally from Dallas, he moved to Malibu full-time after opening an office here in 1992. In addition to more than 40 years in broadcast journalism, management, and consulting, Tallal also owns CommCinema—which designs and builds portable and fixed installation large-scale projection systems.
