Founder of Brevis a capabilities development consultancy, Shivraj is a public communication coach/trainer and former broadcast journalist with 25 years of experience.Shivraj began his career in 1995 with India’s première media house New Delhi Television (NDTV) and was part of the company’s transformation from being a mere software and content provider to a competitive global broadcaster. As Deputy Editor – Foreign Affairs, Shivraj covered landmark events like 9/11, Iraq War, Indo US Nuclear Deal among others and interviewed global leaders like Kofi Annan, Vladimir Putin, Benazir Bhutto, Mahinda Rajapaksa and Jack Straw.Drawing on his public speaking and broadcasting skills, Shivraj built Brevis on the principle of helping individuals and institutions in ‘getting the story right’. He has facilitated training initiatives at organizations like the WHO, SAP India, Sequoia Capital, McKinsey’s, CISCO, et al.Shivraj represents Passion & Pride, a matchmaking service for the LGB + community, serves on the Committee of InsideOut Delhi that organises India’s first national LGBTQ+ art competition annually and continues to participate in panels on the issues of diversity and inclusion.Recently, Shivraj worked with the Resource Alliance India (a registered charity supporting global social impact organisations) and as Chief Learning Officer (CLO) set up a national English news channel promoted by a Southern publication.Shivraj is an avid podcaster and video content creator who loves giving people a wider berth to tell their stories.He holds a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Sussex, UK.
