Simon Vance is a narrator and actor, known for narrating audiobooks. He sometimes narrates audiobooks under the pseudonyms Richard Matthews and Robert Whitfield.Vance started his career at BBC Radio Brighton, and went on to become a BBC Radio 4 presenter and newsreader. He donated his time to narrate books for the Royal National Institute for the Blind. He also performed in plays in London.Vance has received 16 Audie Awards, the American Library Association's Booklist Magazine Voice of Choice in 2008, and 60 AudioFile Magazine Earphones Awards.
