Sophie Kohn is a writer and stand-up comedian. She also teaches satire and humour writing for Second City Toronto and Los Angeles. Previously, Kohn was a writer and producer with CBC Comedy, and the writer for the CBC show "q." Kohn's work has appeared in The New Yorker, Outpost Magazine, and The Globe and Mail, as well as on CBC Television and Radio One. Kohn received her B.A. in English from University of Toronto and her B.A. in Journalism Ryerson. She is a graduate of Second City's Conservatory program.
