Susie Rumbold is the Founder and Creative Director of Tessuto Interiors, and a Past President of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID). Established in 1993, Tessuto is an award-winning, technically advanced, full service, architectural interior design studio with broad experience across a variety of industry sectors. Tessuto have successfully completed commissions ranging from large scale PRS schemes, high-end, multi-residential sales schemes, single house developments and luxury, private client residential work as well as hospitality, workplace and other commercial projects. They also specialise in the restoration of heritage buildings, including Grade 1 listed properties, and have completed projects abroad, most recently in Japan. Susie is a regular speaker at all major UK interior design trade events, writes for various industry publications and is in demand by journalists for expert comment on a variety of interiors related subjects. She is a member of Women in Construction, and campaigns tirelessly for a greater public awareness of the role of interior designers and the interior design profession.
