The Kid Mero (Joel Martinez) is a Dominican-American comedian, writer, and TV host, best known as one half of the comedy duo Desus & Mero. Mero, along with Desus Nice, rose to fame with the podcast The Bodega Boys and their late-night talk shows on Viceland and Showtime, Desus & Mero, where they blended comedy, pop culture, and interviews with high-profile guests.
